Regeneration

A series of mokuhanga prints meditating on what gets passed down from generation to generation. The thought crossed my mind as I watched my mother gardening in her front yard, that we plant parts of ourselves in each other. Mannerisms I see in my grandmother, I also see in my mother, and in myself. What else has been passed down from ancestors I have not known?

This series of prints have been layered and pieced together, forms emerging from and to. A patchwork of seeds or drops independently forming a collective of experience across time.
